Diesel Locomotives of Sri Lanka webpage’s was created by me in 2004. All contents which appear on this website were well researched before being published. Images, text and other data submitted for publication in my site are credited to their respective owners. The textual content of this entire website is authored by me. Personally I have the least concern of these new Sri Lankan Railway websites that mushrooms in the web. What I find distressing is that most of these websites conveniently copy content from my site to fill up theirs pages. Some even go to the extent of adding 'copyright' claims for content which are not their own in the first place!
My courses of action against these individuals are quite simple. I am starting a 'shame list' page. I will be adding all sites who have copied content from mine without my prior permission

Note:
I was astonished to be informed by a colleague that a Sunday newspaper is carrying an article with contents copied from my website! I was under the impression that the so called journalists are supposed to research and write their own piece. Reading the article I can reasonably assume the two individuals hiked only around the internet to fill the newspaper!
